Since the beginning of the year, 200 cases of using forged documents at the border have been detected, the National Security Committee reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"Since the beginning of this year alone, during border control at checkpoints, 200 such facts have been prevented. Most criminals used fake visas and document forms with identification data of third parties," the statement said.
Their use was most often detected in the southern parts of the border and on international airlines. It is worth noting that in 2025, 661 such offenses were registered. The Border Service of the NSC warns that crossing the border using forged or foreign documents entails criminal liability.
