The Ministry of Healthcare plans to amend the rules for mandatory medical examinations and screening studies. The agency published a draft order on amendments to the 2020 document on the "Open NLA" portal. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The document defines target groups of citizens required to undergo medical examinations and the procedure for conducting them. The changes were developed due to amendments to several legislative acts. Specifically: - The law of January 9, 2026, on amendments to issues of architecture, urban planning and construction; - The law of January 9, 2026, on amendments in the areas of digitalization, transport and entrepreneurship; - The law of June 3, 2026, on amendments to improve labor legislation.
According to the draft order, workers and employers will be sent notifications about the need to undergo screening studies. This is aimed at increasing employees' interest in timely mandatory medical examinations. According to the Ministry of Healthcare, the new norms will encourage citizens to undergo mandatory medical examinations in a timely manner and increase the effectiveness of preventive measures. The draft document will be under public discussion until July 22.
