Drivers are receiving erroneous fines for speeding on highways. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has commented on the situation. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on August 13-14, there was a technical failure in the "ERAP" information system during the automatic generation of orders. As a result, some violations related to exceeding the average speed were mistakenly recorded as exceeding the instantaneous speed.
"We are currently working together with colleagues to eliminate the consequences of the technical failure," the ministry reported.
The police stated that all erroneously issued fines have been identified and will be automatically canceled. Drivers do not need to visit the police or provide additional evidence.
It is worth recalling that information about unjustified fines being imposed on drivers spread on social networks. According to them, some drivers received several fines at once.
