An animated video explaining how to quickly memorize road signs has gone viral on Instagram. The user under the nickname ucishka_rulit explains their meaning in two minutes with an expressive Caucasian accent and humor. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Within a few days, the video amassed 29 million views, 2.1 million likes and over 13,500 comments. Viewers admit they have finally understood traffic rules that were not always easy to remember even in driving school.
The secret to the video's popularity lies in its simple explanations and emotional delivery. In the frame, a black Lada Priora with license plates A777AA drives along roads, and "Makhachkala" often appears among the settlement signs.
The author divides road signs into three groups — "triangles, koloboks and squares."
"A triangle with a red border is placed when there is commotion ahead: a sharp turn, grannies at the crossing, cows on the highway," the voice-over explains.
He also explains prohibition signs through the red border:
"Remember, bro, a red border always means no. But a blue circle without a border means you must. For example, straight ahead only — even if the hookah lounge is to the left."
And this is how restrictions in residential areas are explained:
"In the yard — maximum 20 km/h and a granny with bags is more important than you."
Commenters write that the video turned out to be more useful than driving school lessons.
"In 2 minutes you learn more than in 3 months. Why didn't they teach like this in driving school?"
"I swear, I will learn traffic rules from this video."
"I struggled with not knowing the signs, and no one explained it to me so clearly!"
Users also call the video "genius" and "the best learning material."
Judging by the reaction, the video not only entertains the audience but also motivates them to learn traffic rules — even those who do not yet plan to get behind the wheel.
At the time of publication, the account contains 85 similar videos with analyses of traffic rules, road situations and tricky questions from exam tickets.
Earlier, Kursiv Auto reported that the theoretical driving license exam in Kazakhstan could be moved online.
