Kazakhstan is developing standards in the fields of artificial intelligence, tourism, and countering fraud. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Baurzhan Kassymov, acting chairman of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Integration, said at a briefing at the Central Communications Service: "This year, when developing standards, special attention is paid to countering fraud, developing artificial intelligence, digital technologies, tourism and services, as well as ensuring accessibility of services for people with disabilities."
According to him, in accordance with the National Standardization Plan, 57 standards are planned to be developed in 2026. Also, within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, 53 technical regulations have been adopted, 48 of which have entered into force.
Kassymov noted that a number of standards have already been approved. In particular: - standard for metrological support of electric charging stations for electric vehicles; - standard for delivery of refrigerated cargo to develop transit potential; - standards for certification of organic products and collection of wild organic raw materials; - standard for house-building plants.
