Former Satpayev akim Murat Boribayev has been appointed to the position of akim of Zhezkazgan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
This was reported by the akimat of the Ulytau Region. Today, the head of the Ulytau Region, Yeset Baiken, introduced the new akim, Murat Boribayev, to the active community of the city of Zhezkazgan.
About the new akim
Murat Boribayev was born in 1991. He holds a bachelor's degree in "Metallurgy, Economics and Business" and a master's degree in public management. The new head of the city graduated from Karaganda State Technical University, the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz, and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Career path
He began his career as a third-class flotation operator at the main building of the Nurkazgan Concentrating Factory of the "Karagandytustimet" Production Association, a branch of "Kazakhmys Corporation" LLP.
Boribayev also worked as a records clerk in the administrative building of the factory management, a foreman of the control shop, head of the main building shop, and chief engineer of the concentrating factory of the Orlovsky Mine of the "Vostoktsvetmet" Production Association of "Kazakhmys Corporation" LLP.
In 2015, Murat Boribayev was appointed director of the Nurkazgan Concentrating Factory of the "KTM" branch of "Kazakhmys Corporation" LLP, and later director of the Zhezkazgan Concentrating Factory No. 1, 2, 3 of the "Zhezkazgantsvetmet" Production Association.
Before his new appointment, he headed the city of Satpayev.
