In the Aksu district of the Zhetysu region, rescuers found a tourist who had been in the mountains for several days. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The man went to the mountains on August 19 and planned to return in two days. When he did not get in touch and did not return on the third day, relatives called 112.
Rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and a helicopter of Kazaviaspas JSC were involved in the search. The tourist was found in a tent at an altitude of about 2000 meters above sea level.
The man's condition was assessed as satisfactory; he did not require medical assistance.
The rescuers delivered the tourist to a safe place and then accompanied him to the car he had left at the foot of the mountain.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that rescuers found two teenagers who had gone missing in the area of the Big Almaty Peak. They were found in the Aiusai gorge, brought to safety, and handed over to their parents. The teenagers did not require medical assistance.

Search operations in mountainous areas are always challenging due to difficult terrain and weather conditions. In this case, rescuers used a helicopter, which allowed them to cover a significant area.
