Rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations evacuated two men from the Kora River in Eskeldi district, Zhetysu region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
During the day, the men crossed the river on their own, but later the water level rose, making it impossible for them to return.
"Rescuers safely transported them to the other bank. The men did not require medical assistance," the Ministry reported.
The ministry reminded vacationers to observe safety measures in nature, avoid difficult-to-pass areas, and call 112 in case of an emergency.
