In the Zhetysu region, 58 people with medical contraindications to driving illegally obtained driver's licenses and got behind the wheel. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Police officers conducted a special inspection and identified citizens who are prohibited from driving due to health reasons. Among them were people with poor eyesight, cardiovascular diseases, and other health problems.

It turned out that these citizens obtained driver's licenses without undergoing medical examination or using forged documents. Police held them accountable and revoked their driver's licenses.

According to the regional police department, such violations directly threaten road safety. Therefore, regular checks are carried out to prevent such cases.

Police urge citizens not to hide their health conditions and not to engage in illegal activities. If you have contraindications to driving, you should consult a doctor and undergo appropriate treatment rather than conceal it.
