The epicenter was located 875 km northeast of Almaty. Its coordinates are 49.167° north latitude and 84.417° east longitude.
The estimated intensity of tremors in the village of Ulken-Naryn, East Kazakhstan region, was two points. There is no information on casualties or destruction.
