In the first seven months of 2026, Kazakhstan's emergency medical service handled over 5.2 million calls. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the ministry, this is approximately 25 thousand calls per day. The statement reads: "Behind every such indicator are saved lives, timely assistance to patients, and the work of thousands of medical workers serving around the clock across the country."
Currently, there are 20 independent emergency medical stations, 92 city substations, and 189 district departments operating nationwide. This ensures that emergency medical care is accessible to residents of large cities and those in remote settlements alike.
Every day, 1,669 mobile brigades go on duty, ready to provide assistance around the clock. For rapid response, 2,728 ambulance vehicles are used, of which 1,733 serve cities and 995 serve rural areas.
