Seasonal sales have started in many clothing boutiques. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Kursiv LifeStyle shows what is happening in stores and social media amid the discount frenzy.

While some shoppers hunt for bargains, others complain about huge queues at fitting rooms and checkouts. Social media also discuss that some brands allegedly bring out old and unattractive collections from warehouses to sell off stale stock.

Price tags with "fake" discounts cause particular irritation among shopaholics. Users share photos of goods where the price before and after the sale looks the same.

Some shoppers even ironically note that prices do not decrease during sales but increase. For instance, one user said she liked a dress at Zara but decided to postpone the purchase. When discounts started a few days later, the price of the same model unexpectedly turned out to be higher.

Some shoppers pre-filled online carts in anticipation of discounts to buy desired items cheaper. However, after the sale started, many noticed that pre-selected items were no longer available.

Of course, queues were inevitable. Most likely, shopping will turn into "The Hunger Games" on the weekend.
