In summer, even a few minutes in a closed car can turn into a tragedy. KazAvtoZhol reminded drivers that the car cabin heats up much faster than it seems, and such heat is especially dangerous for a child. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to the national company, if it is about +25°C outside, within 10 minutes the temperature in the cabin becomes 10–15°C higher. In about an hour, the air inside the car can heat up to over +50°C.

A child's body overheats much faster than an adult's. Even a short stay in a hot cabin can lead to heatstroke, loss of consciousness, and other dangerous consequences.

KazAvtoZhol emphasizes that a child should not be left alone in a car, whether near a store, at a gas station, or in a yard. Left unattended, a child may accidentally lock the doors, press control buttons, open or close windows, or become frightened and unable to get out on their own.

Slightly open windows or parking in the shade do not save the situation – the cabin still heats up quickly. Drivers are urged to remember a simple rule: the child should leave the car together with adults, even if the stop takes only a few minutes.
