The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development explained the procedure for assigning benefits with the help of artificial intelligence. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Today, artificial intelligence is used in Kazakhstan when assigning social payments. However, the final decision is made by a human.
"Artificial intelligence helps to analyze data in detail. As a result, it is possible to identify a truly needy person or those who do not need assistance. But benefits are not assigned automatically based on the decision of artificial intelligence. And an employee of a state body can use it and also assign benefits," said First Vice Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Rostislav Konyashkin at a briefing in the government.
Earlier, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Asqarbek Yertaev said that since August, some social payments by akimats are assigned with the help of artificial intelligence. And in October, it is planned to introduce artificial intelligence for targeted assignment, taking into account the targeting and level of need of recipients of state support measures.
