Kazakhmys Corporation is implementing 20 geological exploration projects this year using digital technologies. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the company's press service, total investment amounts to $18.2 million. Currently, digital solutions cover all key processes: from geological data collection to core analysis, online monitoring of drilling equipment, and creation of digital geological models.
A unified digital environment has been established, and online monitoring has been introduced for 50 pieces of equipment. Starlink satellite communication is being deployed at remote sites. At the Geological Cluster in Zhezkazgan, artificial intelligence systems ANCORELOG and LithoLens are being used.
