Starting in August, some social payments from akimats will be assigned using artificial intelligence. This was announced by Minister of Labor and Social Protection Askarbek Yertayev. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Today, to receive a social payment, it is enough to submit one application. The digital platform itself obtains the necessary data from state information systems.
Platform Implementation
Since June of this year, the platform has been introduced in all 20 regions of the country. Through the platform, 13 support measures provided by local executive bodies are offered in digital format, – said Yertayev at today's government meeting.
Support Measures in Digital Format
Social support measures provided in digital format:
- 01for treatment (rehabilitation);
- 02for people with disabilities of group I using hemodialysis machines;
- 03for treatment of musculoskeletal disorders;
- 04for treatment of children with disabilities;
- 05for people with chronic renal failure;
- 06for provision of medicines;
- 07for sanatorium-resort treatment;
- 08for payment of utility services;
- 09for housing maintenance;
- 10for payment of telephone subscription fees;
- 11for household needs;
- 12for purchase of solid fuel;
- 13for providing financial assistance.
Role of Artificial Intelligence
Starting this month, one-time state support measures provided by akimats, namely payments for holidays and memorable dates, will also be assigned using artificial intelligence. The system pre-identifies recipients and forms a draft payment assignment. The final decision on the payment is made by the local executive body, – the minister noted.
Future Plans
According to him, in September it will be possible to apply via eGov Mobile. And in October, it is planned to introduce artificial intelligence for targeted assignment of state support measures, taking into account the targeting and level of need of recipients.
