Nurlan Zhakypov, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna, issued a strict warning to executives responsible for the timely implementation of energy projects. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

He recalled the President's criticism of work in the energy sector and noted that a stable energy surplus must be ensured in Kazakhstan by 2029.

According to Zhakypov, construction work at all facilities must be carried out in accordance with the approved schedule.

Delays in launching new generating capacities, as well as gas processing plants, are especially unacceptable in the cities of Turkestan, Kyzylorda, Almaty and Ekibastuz.

"Every first executive bears personal responsibility for the fulfillment of commitments and the timely commissioning of facilities. Indifference and lack of proper control lead to corresponding management decisions," said Nurlan Zhakypov.
