In Jambyl Region, the Zhualy District Court considered an administrative offense case regarding the humiliation of a minor child. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
At one of the schools in Zhualy District, an 8th-grade student who was late for class was verbally humiliated by a classmate. The classmate called him a "shepherd herding sheep," saying he was late because he had been grazing livestock.
"The Commission on Juvenile Affairs and Protection of Their Rights confirmed the fact of bullying and decided to hold the student's parents accountable," the court said.
The father of the accused child admitted guilt and said he would not allow such behavior in the future.
By court decision, the man was given an administrative warning.
