Another major investment project has been launched in the Zhambyl region. In the Merki district, a foundation-laying ceremony was held for the egg poultry complex of EcoFerma Limited Liability Partnership. The total cost of the project is 1 billion tenge. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Financing is fully provided from the entrepreneur's own funds. In the first phase, the complex, covering an area of 4 hectares, will house 20 thousand chickens. In the future, its capacity is planned to be increased to 100 thousand chickens, with an annual egg production of 30 million.

The project aims to obtain 300–320 eggs per chicken per year. After the enterprise is commissioned, it is expected to create 20–25 new jobs. This will not only provide stable employment for rural residents but also have a positive impact on the socio-economic development of the region.
