In the Zhambyl region, the validity of a testing laboratory's accreditation certificate has been temporarily suspended, and a fine of more than 4 million tenge has been imposed. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the Ministry of Trade and Integration, the ministry's responsible department conducted an unscheduled inspection of the accredited testing laboratory as part of state control in the field of accreditation and conformity assessment.
Inspection findings
It was established that the laboratory conducted tests and issued their results for objects and test methods not included in the current scope of accreditation. This constitutes a violation of the requirements of legislation in the field of accreditation and technical regulation.
Fine imposed
"Based on the results of the consideration of the case on an administrative offense, an administrative fine totaling 930 monthly calculation indices, that is, in the amount of 4,022,250 tenge, was imposed on the legal entity," the statement says.
As an additional administrative penalty, the validity of the accreditation certificate was suspended for a period of 6 months.
