In Zhambyl Region, those who made noise and violated traffic rules have been held accountable. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
During monitoring of social networks, police identified a convoy of vehicles. A passenger in one of the cars climbed out of the sunroof, grossly violated public order, threatened the life and safety of others, and set off fireworks.
"The offender, an 18-year-old city resident, was identified and detained. He was brought to administrative responsibility for using pyrotechnic devices in a populated area, disturbing the peace at night, and petty hooliganism," the statement said.
Drivers who allowed traffic violations were also punished. Police strictly warn that using pyrotechnics in public places, disturbing nighttime peace, and deliberately ignoring traffic rules are offenses. Each such incident will be identified, and the guilty will be held accountable in accordance with the law, police say.
