In the Zhambyl region, near the village of Myngaral in the Moyynkum district, rescuers assisted two fishermen on Lake Balkhash. The two citizens were in a boat approximately 15 kilometers from the shore. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Due to the boat's engine failure, they could not reach the shore on their own. Rescuers evacuated the two fishermen from the scene and brought them to the shore. No medical assistance was required.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the rescue operation was successful.

Rescuers warn that before going out on the water, it is necessary to check the serviceability of the boat and engine, wear life jackets, and carry communication devices.
