In the Zhambyl district of the Zhambyl region, a 62-year-old man who repeatedly went to his ex-wife's home and caused scandals has been placed under administrative arrest for 10 days. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the regional prosecutor's office, since the beginning of the year, police have received four reports of domestic conflicts at the specified address.

"The man repeatedly caused scandals, threatened family members and used force against a woman with disabilities," the statement said.

Previously, the man had been held administratively liable, and a protection order had been issued against him. However, he again violated its requirements.

The court found the man guilty of an offense under Article 461 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses. By court order, he was sentenced to administrative arrest for 10 days.
