Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner will visit Ukraine again. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Zelensky made the statement during a conversation with representatives of international media. RIA Novosti reported on this. According to the Italian newspaper Stampa, Zelensky said: "Steve and Jared will come again. It is important that there are no long pauses."
Commenting on the US delegation's visit to Kyiv, Zelensky noted that Ukraine's security services were ready to ensure their safety, but the American side preferred to travel by train. He noted that Witkoff and Kushner had visited Moscow several times, while their trip to Kyiv was the first.
On September 5, Russian President Vladimir Putin met in the Kremlin with US President's special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. According to Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, who spoke to journalists, during the meeting the Russian leader emphasized the need to address all root causes of the conflict in Ukraine.
