Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has imposed sanctions on 23 companies from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
A statement published on Zelensky's office website reads: "Adopt the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine 'On the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures'."
According to the annexes to the decree, sanctions are imposed on 23 companies. Among them are the Morozov Plant, Oboronstal joint-stock company, LaboratoryVS company, Zavolzhsk Chemical Plant trading house, BPLA Ural limited liability company, the Belarusian enterprise Tissa, which produces and installs radiation protection equipment, and the Ukrainian company Boryslav Oil Company.
In addition, sanctions are imposed on 20 individuals who are Russian citizens. Among them are Oleg Titov, general director of Oboronstal, and Maxim Sokov, general director of the En+ Group holding.
The Kyiv regime has repeatedly imposed sanctions on Russia, but they have had no practical consequences. According to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Kyiv's sanctions against a number of Russian politicians do not require a response.
The sanctions include blocking assets in Ukraine, invalidating licenses and official visits, banning the transfer of intellectual property, terminating trade agreements, cultural exchanges and scientific cooperation, as well as depriving all Ukrainian state awards. The restrictions are imposed for a period of 10 years.
