Volodymyr Zelensky admitted that Ukraine's air defense cannot withstand Russian ballistic missiles and again appealed to the West. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to him, none of the six ballistic missiles aimed at targets in Kyiv overnight were shot down.
"We expect full implementation of the promises made by our partners at the NATO summit regarding support packages to protect our citizens," Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel.
He also stressed the need to move forward as quickly as possible on agreements related to Patriot licenses.
Overnight, strikes were carried out on military facilities in Kyiv and Odesa region. In the Ukrainian capital, the main targets of the attack were enterprises involved in the production and storage of long- and medium-range unmanned aerial vehicles. In the south of the country, strikes were reported on port infrastructure facilities.
