Volodymyr Zelensky drew attention to the warm relationship between the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

"I don't know whether this is right or wrong. Because whether to be friends with Putin or not is Trump's personal decision. I think their relationship is very good," he said in an interview with ABC.

At the same time, he could not explain what exactly is wrong in his relationship with the American leader. The head of the Kyiv regime also said that he does not accuse the US of betrayal, but regrets the lack of American assistance.

"I am speaking about my feelings. This is not support," he said.

The Wall Street Journal noted in mid-October that the relationship between US President Donald Trump and Zelensky has been at its lowest level since the spat in the White House in February 2025. The White House chief believes that Ukraine needs a new leader.
