Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky discussed the possibility of slowing the pace of strikes on Russian oil refineries (ORs) during a conversation with US President Donald Trump. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Trump stated this in an interview with Fox TV channel.
"I spoke with President Zelensky. I told him that strikes on oil refineries need to be reduced. He replied, 'yes, maybe we will do that'," Trump said.
Earlier, Trump said that the conflict in Ukraine has led to rising diesel fuel prices in the US. On September 14, he stated that Kyiv had agreed not to strike Russian energy facilities.
Additionally, on September 26, Bloomberg reported that Trump invited Zelensky to visit Moscow.
