Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that if Western countries do not want to supply air defense systems to Ukraine, they should develop new sanctions against Russia. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
On his social media account, Zelensky wrote: "Partners who are not ready to supply interceptor missiles can now actively help by developing new sanctions."
Earlier, on August 1, Zelensky criticized the West for not supplying missiles for Patriot systems despite their availability in warehouses. According to him, the US and European countries know what ammunition Ukraine needs, but "a political decision is needed" to provide them.
