Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged Western countries to deliver missiles for Patriot systems. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"There are missiles for Patriot systems in the world. The important thing is for partners to make a political decision to provide the necessary aid packages. Europe knows this well," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, air defense systems "should not sit in warehouses."
Russia believes that arms supplies to Ukraine hinder the settlement of the situation and directly drag NATO countries into the conflict. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has stated that any shipment of ammunition to Kyiv will be a legitimate target for Moscow.
