Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, following Russian overnight airstrikes, called on Western countries to deliver air defense systems to Ukraine without delay. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"All partners know who can help and how," Zelensky wrote on his social media page.
On Thursday, Russian forces attacked military airfields and enterprises in several regions of Ukraine. The strikes targeted facilities in Kyiv and Lviv, as well as in Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Vinnytsia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Among the targets were one dry cargo ship in the "Yuzhny" port and two other ships near Odesa. According to the Russian side, they were used for delivering weapons and military equipment.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that long-range weapons and strike drones were used during the attack.
Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainian armed forces attacked two tankers near the Caspian Pipeline Consortium marine terminal in the Black Sea.
