Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the United States is not providing the previously agreed $16 billion in financial aid to Ukraine. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
He said this in an interview with the TSN TV channel.
"Under previous agreements and decisions, the $16 billion aid has been stopped and not provided," Zelensky said.
In late November 2025, White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt stated that Washington had stopped financing the conflict in Ukraine. However, it continues to sell weapons through NATO.
Trump has repeatedly stated that the US will no longer provide financial aid to Ukraine, but instead will receive payment for supplying weapons through NATO.
