Pensions and MCI to rise: draft budget for three years published

Kazakhstan has published a draft law "On the Republican Budget for 2027-2029". This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the draft, from January 1, 2027, the following changes are envisaged:

• 01The minimum wage will remain unchanged at 85,000 tenge.
• 02The monthly calculation index (MCI) will be 4,693 tenge (currently 4,325 tenge).
• 03The minimum amount of the state basic pension payment will be 38,622 tenge (currently 35,596 tenge).
• 04The minimum pension will be 74,919 tenge (currently 69,049 tenge).
• 05The subsistence minimum will be 55,173 tenge (currently 50,851 tenge).

It should be noted that these are only proposed amounts in the draft law.
