Zeekr has announced the launch date for the five-seat version of its flagship 9X SUV. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

On July 28, orders will open in China for the plug-in hybrid with an electric range of up to 380 km and power output of up to 1,381 hp.

Customers who place a pre-order with a deposit of 5,000 yuan (about 365,000 tenge) will receive bonuses worth up to 90,000 yuan (approximately 6.6 million tenge). The package includes a 10,000 yuan discount, a Naim audio system, a ceiling screen, and electric side steps.

The price of the new version has not yet been disclosed. It is expected to be close to the price of the six-seat version, which ranges from 466,000 to 600,000 yuan (34–43.8 million tenge).

The main difference of the five-seat version is the luxurious second row. Passengers get seats with heating, ventilation, massage, and zero-gravity mode. The center seat transforms into a wide armrest with physical buttons, wireless chargers, and cupholders. The cabin also includes a refrigerator, Nappa leather upholstery, and natural wood trim.

All versions use a plug-in hybrid system with a 2.0-liter turbo engine. The base variant produces 885 hp, while the top three-motor version delivers 1,381 hp.

According to China EV DataTracker, the Zeekr 9X family has led China's premium SUV segment for seven consecutive months. Cumulative sales of the model have exceeded 65,000 units. The company also confirmed that the 9X will become a global model and will later enter overseas markets.

Earlier, Kursiv Avto reported that an unusual Zeekr 9X was spotted in China ahead of its global launch.
