Yevgenia Yashina, director of communications at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), told RIA Novosti that inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have been informed of an attack on the plant's operational staff. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to Yashina, IAEA inspectors were notified of another attack. The plant's press service reported on Saturday that a Ukrainian drone attacked a service vehicle of ZNPP operational personnel. No one was injured, but the staff vehicle was damaged.
The incident occurs against the backdrop of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine. Previously, Ukrainian drones had also struck the ZNPP building.
