Yandex Qazaqstan has shared the first results of the 'Helping Together' charity feature in Yandex Go. Donations from users and the company helped attract teachers to schools with shortages, create an inclusion support room for children with autism in Akmola Region, and train more robotics and programming teachers. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Three organizations received support under the project: Teach for Qazaqstan, Bolashak Charity, and Robotek Foundation, which develop educational projects for children in Kazakhstan's regions.

Results of the raised funds

The collected funds allowed new teachers to be attracted to schools with shortages. For instance, in Karaganda Region, three participants of the Teach for Qazaqstan project are already teaching: over two years, they will educate more than 500 schoolchildren. Their students already participate in international projects, speak in English, receive educational grants, and become winners of olympiads.

The Bolashak Charity Foundation directed donations to create an inclusion support room at the school named after Aktan Toleubayev in Akmola Region. There, students with mental development peculiarities can study individually with correctional teachers.

Robotek Foundation trained ten robotics and programming teachers. Annually, they will be able to teach more than 300 schoolchildren engineering skills and prepare them for national and international competitions.

How the 'Helping Together' feature works

The 'Helping Together' charity feature was launched in December 2025, allowing users to regularly donate funds simply by making trips and ordering deliveries. In the 'Helping Together' section, the user selects a donation amount – from 10 to 1000 tenge. After that, the selected amount is automatically added to the cost of each order in Taxi and Delivery when paying by bank card. Yandex Qazaqstan doubles the collected funds and sends them to the 'KAMEDA' fund, which distributes them equally among Teach for Qazaqstan, Robotek Foundation, and the Bolashak Charity fund.

Availability

Currently, 'Helping Together' can be connected in 25 cities of Kazakhstan – where Taxi and Delivery services are available. The subscription can be disabled at any time in the menu on the left side of the screen.
