Panic messages are appearing on social media that funds are being mistakenly charged in the Yandex Go service. Users are being advised to temporarily unlink their cards. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
By the way, in the comments, some users reacted skeptically to such calls, as such messages too closely resemble fakes on WhatsApp.
See in Threads: "Because of the Yandex taxi outage, it transferred my apartment to itself, took away my wife, fired me from work, and the taxi driver's children call him dad," one user responded with humor.
However, some commenters confirmed that after a technical outage over the weekend, there were indeed problems with taxi payments. Yandex Qazaqstan confirmed them.
"We see user reports related to errors in paying for orders. All cases in which funds were mistakenly charged will definitely be reviewed. Due to increased load on the support service, resolving such situations may take longer than usual," the company noted.
Yandex Qazaqstan also acknowledged outages in payment for taxi drivers' orders and noted that some payments may still be delayed. The team is responding to these reports as a priority.
"Instant payouts to drivers are available. Some payments may still go through with errors or delays, and we are trying to resolve them as a priority," the message adds.
The day before, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev told journalists that disruptions in the operation of Yandex services would last approximately until Thursday.
Recall that over the past few days, Ukrainian drones have attacked large Yandex data centers in various regions of Russia several times. On October 11, the data center in Vladimir completely stopped operating. Also, a fire occurred at a data center in the Ryazan region after an attack, and several modules failed in the Kaluga region. All this led to disruptions in the operation of services.
