Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada has appointed the head of Naftogaz Ukraine, Serhiy Koretsky, as the new prime minister of the country. The parliamentary session was broadcast on the Rada YouTube channel. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Koretsky's candidacy was supported by 289 deputies. On July 14, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko from her post. As a result, the government resigned in full.
