Ukraine's Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant has been reconnected to the electricity grid following a ceasefire brokered by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Reuters.

The ceasefire agreement allowed for a temporary halt to hostilities in the area surrounding the plant, enabling engineers to repair damaged lines and restore the connection. The Zaporizhzhya plant is the largest nuclear power station in Europe, and its operation is critical for the region's energy security.
