Spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ihnat, announced that data on the number of missiles intercepted or missed by Ukrainian air defense systems will no longer be released. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The last time the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Air Force published data on the number of Russian missiles launched and intercepted was on August 8.
Previously, reports on the types and numbers of missiles were published daily in the Telegram channel each morning.
Now only the types of Russian munitions will be named, without indicating their quantity.
Information about successful interceptions will also not be provided.
"The military leadership has decided to introduce certain changes (restrictions) to the morning reports regarding enemy ballistic missiles during mass attacks. That is, the number of launched, intercepted, neutralized, or target-reaching missiles will no longer be indicated," Ihnat wrote on his social media page.
According to him, the Air Force command provides the media with generalized information.
"For example, in July 2026, the enemy used more than 450 missiles of various types, of which about 200 were missiles attacking on a ballistic trajectory," Ihnat explained.
