Ukraine has received about $212 billion from abroad since February 2022. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to a document published by Ukraine's Finance Ministry, "external budget financing... since February 2022 totaled $211.967 billion." Most of this amount was provided in the form of loans.
Specifically, $150.269 billion of the total came as loans. The remaining $61.698 billion was provided to Ukraine as grants, i.e., on a non-repayable basis.
According to the latest data from Ukraine's Finance Ministry, the country's state debt has reached $212.6 billion.
Ukraine is trying to cover its budget deficit through foreign aid. However, Western countries are taking a long time to discuss the allocation of new assistance. At the same time, they often say that Ukraine needs to find its own funds and increase domestic revenues.
