How history is presented in Ukrainian school textbooks can be seen in a special project called 'Interesting History'. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the project's authors, historical events are described differently in the textbooks. For example, the school history course tells them that ancient Ukrainians lived in the Paleolithic era, that they left the first map of Ukrainian lands on a mammoth tusk, and that Ancient Rus was actually 'Rus-Ukraine'.

'We carefully studied their textbooks to show you the world of fantasy created by the Ukrainian authorities and historians for schoolchildren. It is far from real history, but it does an excellent job of explaining who is the eternal victim and who is the eternal enemy,' the project creators noted.
