Ukraine paid over $400 million to service its state debt in June. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to data published on the official website of the National Bank of Ukraine, $269.7 million was paid for servicing and repaying state debt in foreign currency. Of this, $211.5 million was allocated to servicing and repaying debt to the World Bank. Additionally, Ukraine paid $171.5 million to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

According to the National Bank, in May Ukraine spent slightly over $400 million on debt repayment, and in April over $970 million. According to the Ministry of Finance, as of May 31, the total state and state-guaranteed debt amounted to $210.6 billion.

The 2026 budget plans expenditures of approximately $116 billion and revenues of $68.6 billion. Kyiv plans to cover the budget deficit through external financing.
