The Ukrainian Defense Ministry is considering changing the conscription age and other measures within the framework of mobilization. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Roman Kostenko, secretary of the Verkhovna Rada committee on national security and defense, said that some radical measures are currently being introduced in the mobilization process.
"I know that some radical measures are being introduced now (in the mobilization process - ed.). This is already being discussed. As far as I know, some things related to the conscription age are being changed," Kostenko said.
His words were published by Ukrainian media. Kostenko did not disclose what exactly these changes would be. He only noted that the relevant work is already underway and that new changes will be officially announced later.
