US President's special envoy Steven Witkoff plans to travel to Moscow after meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Oslo to present proposals developed during negotiations to Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

This was reported by Axios portal journalist Barak Ravid.

"After Oslo, Witkoff plans to go to Russia. He will meet with President Putin and present the proposals developed in close consultation with Ukraine and European partners," the journalist wrote on social media X.

According to Ravid, Witkoff will meet with Zelensky in Oslo today.

Representatives of the European Union, NATO, the E4 countries and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre will also take part in the negotiations.

US President's son-in-law Jared Kushner will participate in the meeting online due to illness.

Earlier last week, Axios reported that the trip of American representatives to Russia had been postponed to agree on a new version of a peace agreement on Ukraine with Kyiv and European countries.

According to The New York Times, the trip was postponed until relations between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky improve.
