At the 'Games of the Future – 2026' tournament held in Astana, the Russian team Wilders became the champion in phygital basketball. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

In the final, Wilders defeated their compatriots from the Liga Pro Team. The digital stage ended with a score of 19:16, and after the traditional game, the final score was 36:26.

"We prepared thoroughly for this competition. I also want to thank the guys from Liga Pro Team. We have known each other well for a long time," said Wilders player Joshgun Aliyev.

The bronze medal was won by the Dangerous team from Montenegro. They defeated the Russian team Triada with a score of 39:36.

The total prize fund of the tournament amounted to 400 thousand dollars. Phygital sport is a direction that combines digital and traditional sports. This year's 'Games of the Future' program includes eight phygital disciplines, including Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, PUBG, Just Dance.
