Wildberries marketplace has temporarily removed from sale products that were stored at logistics facilities in Kotovsk and Elektrostal, Russia, which were attacked by drones. This was announced by the company's founder Tatyana Kim on her Telegram channel. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The company's press service clarified that information regarding these products will be provided shortly.
As a reminder, the attacks on logistics complexes in Kotovsk resulted in seven deaths and 25 injuries. During the attack on the warehouse in Elektrostal, 24 people were injured. Both facilities were promptly evacuated. In Kotovsk, the fire has been completely extinguished, while in Elektrostal, emergency services continue to extinguish remaining fire sources. Russia's Investigative Committee has opened criminal cases on terrorism charges.
The company's head noted that Wildberries is ready to provide necessary assistance to performers, and sellers can quickly redirect planned deliveries to other available warehouses of the marketplace.
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that the Wildberries platform is working on creating its own messenger and plans to launch it on the international market. The messenger is currently being tested by company employees for internal tasks, but in the future, it is planned to be launched on the market.
