A speedboat carrying 36 people capsized off Vietnam's largest island Phu Quoc, killing 15. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The boat was carrying 32 Indian citizens and four crew members. "A speedboat carrying 32 Indian tourists and four crew members capsized on July 11 off Phu Quoc, Vietnam's largest island. As a result, 15 people died," the publication wrote.
The exact causes of the tragedy have not yet been reported. A representative of Ocean Pear Island Company, which operated the boat, said the captain had many years of experience in operating passenger vessels.
