Hungary will not send weapons or troops to Ukraine, announced Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"As I have repeated several times, Hungary will not send weapons or troops to Ukraine," Magyar told reporters in Ankara.
Russia believes that arms deliveries to Ukraine hinder negotiations and directly involve NATO countries in the conflict. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that any shipment of weapons to Ukraine becomes a legitimate target for Russia.
The Kremlin stated that the West's arming of Ukraine does not facilitate negotiations and has a negative impact.
