Venezuela has declared a state of emergency after two powerful earthquakes. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Designated President Delcy Rodríguez announced the state of emergency, stating it is in accordance with the constitution. "We are declaring a state of emergency at this moment, as provided for in our constitution," Rodríguez said.

According to RIA Novosti, El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele said his country is ready to send 300 rescuers, medics, and 50 tons of equipment and aid to earthquake-stricken Venezuela.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that two devastating earthquakes struck Venezuela. Residential buildings and other structures collapsed in Caracas. The number of casualties is still unknown.
